Management is not about stepping away from the technology — it is about turning technical judgement into predictability for the team. These are the three things I have been doing for fourteen years, and want to keep doing.
01 Full-stack architectural judgement
Experience across the entire chain, from kernel drivers to UI frameworks, with several platform-level migrations led personally. I turn “uncertain technology choices” into “architectures we can actually ship”.
02 Turning efficiency into engineering
Tools for DTBO compilation and fast partition generation: builds from 30 minutes to seconds; automatic patch integration from hours to seconds; release-diff comparison from 3–4 days to tens of seconds; unattended overnight builds; a partition-warning algorithm that removes rework at the source; fully automated EEPROM writing for a problem no third party had solved; prototypes delivered without a rebuild.
03 Turning experience into team capability
10+ core engineers mentored. I lead the product specs, development handbooks and interface design conventions that turn one person's experience into an asset the whole team can reuse.
